Funeral services were conducted at Eastview at 2 o'clock this afternoon with burial in the Jester cemetery. Arrangements were directed by the Greer Funeral Home. Mrs. Hatter is survived by her husband, James G. Hatter, and 11 children, William Hatter, Herbert Hatter, Mrs. Clyde Benge, Kirvin Hatter, Mrs. Hallie Wright, Bettie Hatter, J.T.. Hatter, Norris Hatter, Edwin Hatter, and Jack Hatter. (Mrs. Hatter was the daughter of George Jefferson and Martha Jane Speed Campbell) ===================== Mangum Daily Star March 11, 1941 Patrick Campbell Succumbs Today Patrick Campbell, 61, died at 9:45 a.m. today at the home of his sister, Mrs. S (Seymore) York, at Jester. Funeral rites will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Jester Church of Christ. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Ora Gober; two brothers, Judge and Early Campbell, all of Shawnee. ======================== Mangum Star Oct. 6, 1960 York Rites Held Oct. 5 Ex-Greer Woman Dies Monday Services for Mrs. Florence York, 81, who died Monday in Elk City, were Wednesday in the Church of Christ, Sweetwater, OK with burial in the Brinkman cemetery. She was the grandmother of Dale York, Plainview, Greer Co. Mrs.York (wife of Seymore York) was born December 7, 1878 at Freestone, Texas and came to Brinkman in 1903. In 1932 she moved to Sweetwater where her husband succumbed in 1938. Mrs. York was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors are four sons, Elbert York, Snyder, Texas; Fred York, Huntington Beach, Calif; Woodrow York, Sweetwater; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Daniels, Wichita, Kansas; Mrs. Vivian Nolan, Eunace, N.M. and Mrs. Faye Eason, Andrews, Texas; 25 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren. The above deceased were all children of George Jefferson and Martha Jane Speed Campbell. They were all born in Texas in the late 1800's and were early settlers of Greer Co. OK Territory--I believe it was OK Territory then, not still Texas.
