The graveside service will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Bellinger and Arnold lanes, Medford. Mr. Gibson, 82, of Gold Hill, died Thursday (Feb. 14, 2002) at Three Fountains Nursing Center in Medford. Memorial contributions may be made to Lampman Baptist Church 100 Lampman Road, Gold Hill, OR 97525 or Three Fountains Nursing Center, 835 Crater Lake Ave., Medford, OR 97504. He was born June 26, 1919, in Reed, Okla. In 1936, in Brownfield, Texas, he married Attie M. Montgomery, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1991 from Roswell, N.M. Mr. Gibson was a minister with the Southern Baptist Church in Phoenix, Ariz., Pie Town and San Patricio, N.M., and Lemoore, Calif. He enjoyed masonry and gardening. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Buck H., Roswell, N.M.; a daughter, Dixie Fitch, Gold Hill; a sister, Edna Campbell, La Porte, Texas; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, six sisters and two grandchildren. Arrangements: Memory Gardens Mortuary, Medford.
