Albert James Hood

Albert James Hood, 70, of Pampa and formerly of Amarillo, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999.
Services will be at 6 p.m. today in Warford-Walker Mortuary Chapel of Roses, 509 N. Hughes, with the Rev. Howard Romaine, pastor of New Zion Baptist Church of Borger, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Mangum, Okla.
Mr. Hood was a native of Mangum and had been an Amarillo resident for more than 30 years. He retired as custodian from the Amarillo Independent School District.
Mr. Hood was a member of the Church of the Living God in Amarillo. In 1994, he moved to Pampa.
Survivors include a special friend, Everline Hampton; his stepmother, Emma Hood of Albuquerque, N.M.; a stepbrother, Bobby Hood of Salt Lake City, Utah; two sisters, Jo Ann Jackson and Lille Mae Levi, both of Pampa; and a stepsister, Patsy Hood of Albuquerque.
