All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ John Hulen Succumbs Pneumonia Fatal to County Farmer John Tom Hulen, Mangum route 3, died Saturday from pneumonia and heart disease. Funeral ar- rangements are incomplete, the Greer funeral home announced. Mr. Hulen was born October 15, 1862 in Delter county, Texas. On April 11, 1916, he was married to Mrs. Sallie Ball. Since 1916, he has been a county resident. Mr. Hulen was a member of the Bap- tist church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sallie Hulen; six daughters, Mrs. George Quatt and Mrs. Edna Mc- Gee, both of Northcutt, Calif.; Mrs. Viola Remer, Mrs. Ilean Queen, Mrs. Effie Carter, all of Los Angeles; Mrs. Dora Pickering, Amarillo, Texas; two sons, Jack and J. R. Hulen, both of Amarillo; three stepsons; W.S. Ball, Perry- ton, Texas; Y.R. Ball, Canadian, Texas, and J.J. Ball, Sprague River, Ore., and a sister, Mrs. Nannie Bateman, Pawnee.
