All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************** AMANDA MAE HUNTINGTON Published in the Fresno Bee, Fresno, CA AMANDA MAE HUNTINGTON 1910-2001 Amanda Huntington was born in Mangun, OK, January 31, 1910, and moved to California in 1939. She lived with her family in Kerman until 1996, and died June 27, 2001, at the Fresno Community Living Center at the age of 91. Her husband, Bill Huntington; one daughter, Helen Huntington and two sisters, Alice Newman and Gladys Poindexter predeceased her. Amanda is survived by her beloved children, Richard Smith of Bakersfield, Pat Imperatrice, Eleanor McFall and Marge Wolter of Fresno; Linda Blaylock of San Diego and Billie Knight of Hayward. She also leaves 15 grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Amanda was a very strong and loving woman who will be deeply missed. Her family and friends take comfort in knowing she is now with all those who went before her. Visitation will be held at the Kernan Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 29, 2001, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held at the Kerman Funeral Chapel on Saturday, June 30, 2001, at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be at the Golden Sunset Cemetery, Kerman. Amanda's family wishes to extend deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of Fresno Community Living Center for their years of dedicated and sensitive care.
