W.E. Lee
W.E. "Dick" Lee, 92, of Canyon, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 1998.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Brooks Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Jim Hancock, director of missions for the Lubbock Baptist Association, and Dr. Charles Price, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery.
Mr. Lee was born in Mount Pleasant. He married Nancy Caudell in 1930 at Mangum, Okla. He had been a Canyon resident since 1956.
He retired as a chief engineer for Phillips Petroleum in 1969. He was a member of the Oddfellows of Amarillo and First Baptist Church of Canyon.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Jim Lee of Wichita Falls, Jack Lee and Dan Lee, both of Bakersfield, Calif., Dick Lee of Littlefield and Gary Lee of Houston; a brother, Melvin Lee of Yuma, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to a favorite charity.
