Curtis Raymond Nelson, 66, of Modesto died Thursday at Memorial Medical Center.

Mr. Nelson was a native of Greer County, Okla. He lived in Stanislaus County 
42 years. He was a race car fabricator for Beebe Racing Enterprises for 10 years. 
He was a member of NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Nelson of Modesto; children, Ricky Raymond 
Nelson of Hughson and Kurt Walker Franzman, Tony Curtis Nelson, Janet Hartman, 
Lori Manon Franzman and Lisa Jane Stone, all of Modesto; sisters, Jackie Forette 
of Denair and Denise Holbrook of Fayetteville, Ark.; and five grandchildren and 
three great-grandchildren.

Private services. Eaton Family Funeral & Cremation Service in charge of arrangements.
