J. Allen Anderson officiating. Interment was in the Brinkman Cemetery. He was born March 22, 1893 in Moscow, Fulton County, Kentucky, came to Oklahoma around 1910 and lived at Sayre for six years before moving to Brinkman. There he was employed as a ginner until 1941 when he came to Mangum. He was employed by the Mangum Farmers Coop Gin until his retirement. He died December 6 at the Lou Len Manor in Mangum. Riggs was a member of the Masonic Lodge 433, Willow. Survivors are four grandchildren. Mrs. Barbara York, Mrs. Joy Metzner, Mrs. Betty Boeltz and Jimmy Riggs, all of California. His son, J. L. Riggs, preceded him in death. Pallbearers were Charles Warren, Nathan Moore, Edgar Pruitt, Oriff Kouri, Homer Fleming and Chat Hogan. ===========================================================================
