November 1, 1999 Willow First Baptist Cchurch Willow, Oklahoma Officiating Reverend Charles Tatyrek Reverend Jim Flynn Pallbearers Terrell Cooper - Harold Hood Jessie Hooper - Francis Tanner Martin Zemier - Leon McLean Loyd Edmond Sells age 81 of Oklahoma City passed away Friday October 29, 1999 at his home in Oklahoma City following a long illness. Mr. Sells was born in Tennessee March 19, 1918 to Joe Tullie and Retta (Cravens) Sells. They came to Oklahoma when he was a small child and was raised in the Granite area. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was in the European Theater of Operations and was disabled when his tank blew up and he lost an eye. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Tapp in June of 1946. They lived in Willow for several years where he operated a machine shop before moving to Okllahoma City where he worked for the FAA as a mechanic. After retirement from the FAA, he worked for Jet Away Flight Service in Bethany for a period of time. He was a member of the Willow American Legion and attended the Southwest Baptist Church of Oklahoma City. Mr. Sells is survived by his wife Dorothy Sells of the home and one son Eddie Sells of Oklahoma City.
