All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== :: Santa Rosa Press Democrat Published on December 3, 1995 GILBERT WILSON Gilbert Wilson, who lived in Sonoma County since age 9, died Nov. 26 at a Clearlake hospital. He was 66. Wilson, born in Mangum, Okla., was educated at Redwood Empire Junior Academy in Santa Rosa. He spent many years in Sebastopol. Wilson was a heavy equipment operator for more than 20 years. He enjoyed travel, truck driving and auto body repair. Wilson served in the Merchant Marine for several years. He was a member of Local 3 of the Operating Engineers Union, and the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He is survived by his wife, Jane, of Middletown; daughters, Carolyn Wilson of Valley Ford and Marilyn Geney of Petaluma; sons, Gary Wilson of Santa Rosa, Garland Wilson of Sebastopol, and Holland Wilson of Windsor; siblings, LaFon Hance of Marshing, Idaho, and Judy Griffith of Windsor; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services were Thursday in Sebastopol. Burial was at Sebastopol Memorial Lawn. Memorial donations are preferred to the American Heart Association, Redwood Empire Chapter, P.O.
