(13 May 1930, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
MANGUM LAWYER DIES OF WOUND.
MANGUM, Okla., May 13, (U.P.) - Robert Chambers, 23 year old Mangum
attorney, died today from bullet wounds received May 2 in an accidental
shooting near Vinson.
Chambers has been in a hospital here since the accident.
The attorney was shot more than 10 days ago when he and Elmer Odom were
target shooting.  The shooting was declared accidental after an
investigation by local officers and County Attorney Hollis Arnett.
