(16 Oct 1924, Sayre Journal, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
MANGUM MAN DIES ON ELECTRIC WIRE.
John Hines, 24 years old, was electrocuted at Mangum Sunday morning at 9
o'clock, when he attempted to turn on a electric light while standing
against a water sink in the Josephine Hotel, where he lived.  Attempts to
revive him with the pulmotor were made, but of no avail.  Hines was not
married.
