Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ August D. Johnston, 24, Olustee, died Thursday, Aug. 16 at Roswell, N.M. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Kincannon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Everett Smalts officiating. Burial will follow at the Hess Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. He was born March 26, 1977, to Thomas and Teresa (Pumphrey) Johnston in Ruidoso, N. M. He attended Olustee School. He was employed by Skyhawk Communications and had worked on cell tower construction. He was a member of the Olustee First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, baseball, basketball, movies and spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wade and Francis Sellers and J.W. Pumphrey. He is survived by his parents, Jim and Teresa Sellars, Olustee Tommy and Glenda Johnston, Elmer two brothers, Scott Sellers, Fayettville, N.C. and Robert Johnston, Olustee four sisters, Angie Jones, Altus, Twilla Massie, Olustee, Desiree Deike and Dorothy Young both of Dallas grandparents, Jayand Dorothy Johnston, Elmer, girlfriend, Jamie Landers of Norman and many relatives and friends. Visitation hours will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday afternoon and 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday.
