Abra Irene Walkup, 92, died Monday in Derby, Kansas. Services will be at 2 p.m. 
Thursday at the Stewart Funeral Chapel in Hollis with Bob Garton officiating. 
Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Services are under the direction of 
Stewart Funeral Service.


She was born Nov. 16, 1909 in Madisonville, Texas to Abraham and Sarah Emma 
Fraley Duncan. 

She married Claud Walkup Aug. 27, 1925 in Hollis. They farmed together for many 
years in the Hollis area. 


She is survived by her daughter, Donna Cary and husband Don of Derby, Kan.; a 
grandson, Greg and three great-grandchildren
