Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ Charles Colby Earnest Dennis, 64, San Angelo, Texas, died Sept. 7 in San Angelo. A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:30 Thursday at Prarie Hill Cemetery with Eddie Beard officiating. Local arrangements are made by Kincannon Funeral Home. He was born Sept. 8, 1936, in Hollis to Colby and Tommie May Dennis. He graduated from Duke High School. He was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1959. He moved to San Angelo in 1979 and began a 19 year career with Shannon Memorial Hospital as a maintenance engineer. He was a fan of Nascar racing, collecting models of vintage trucks and cars. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Lee Ann and Doug Lannford of Duke; five daughters, Bianca Woodell of Blum, Texas; Bridget Barry of Levelland, Texas; Sabrina Dennis of Dallas; Nancy Keener of Middletown, Penn.; and Diana K. Pennington of Lincoln, Ark.; five stepchildren; 26 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
