Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ July 10, 2002 Charcey Faye Boone, 89, died Wednesday at Harmon Memorial Hospital in Hollis. Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church. Burial followed at Fairmount Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Stewart Funeral Service. She was born April 23, 1913 in Whitesboro, Texas to William Cleo and Annie Brown Hollis. She married O.A. (Buffalo) Boone on Feb. 18, 1928. She was known affectionately as "Faye Mama" by her family and friends. She worked in the home, raising her children, on the farm with her husband, and also as a dietitian at Harmon Memorial Hospital for 32 years. She enjoyed sewing and made many quilts for her family and friends. Survivors include her husband Buffalo; sons W.T. and wife Bobbye, Douglas and wife Bobby Jean, Curtis and wife Mona, Nicky and wife Donna, all of Hollis, and Don and wife Cheryl of Follett, Texas, daughters Lilly Moldenhauer and husband C.R. (Gube), Jeanne Larance and husband Ken, all of Amarillo, Texas, Elaine Boatwright of Weatherford, Fayreen Lucus and husband Dee of Wichita Falls, Texas, 30 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three great-grandchildren, seven sisters and three brothers.
