Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ Dewey Delbert Heath, 87, passed away Saturday at Harmon County Memorial Hospital in Hollis. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Hollis with the Rev. Jim Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be at the McNight Cemetery under the direction of Stewart Funeral Service of Hollis. He was born Jan. 15, 1914 to George and Ogie Balch Heath. He went to school in Quanah, Texas. He married Marie Bryson Dec. 26, 1933 in Hollis. He lived the majority of his life in Hollis. He was a mechanic. He was the mayor of Hollis for 19 years and a fireman and the fire chief for 20 years. Survivors include a son, Terrell and his wife Connie of Wichita Falls, Texas, two daughters, Gwen and her husband Don Richardson of Oklahoma City and Pam Heath of Hollis, six granddaughters, Donette Long and Denise Allison, Delana Ellison, Dee Metcalf, Tina Pemartz and Terra Heath, three grandsons, Heath Beanland, Capt. Chris Heath and Pfc. Todd Heath, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, a sister Charlottie Testerman and one brother Leon Heath. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marie in 1968, a one daughter, Dew Ann Beanland in 1998.
