Dorothy Sanders, 83, of Hollis died Friday at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. 
Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Hollis 
with the Rev. Dee Willis officiating. 

Burial will follow at the Dryden Cemetery under the direction of Patterson Greer 
Funeral Home.


She was born April 28, 1918 in Vernon, Texas to Ansel and Anna Bell Hogan. 

She was a resident of the Hollis area all her life. 

She had a long career as a nurse working for 20 years at the nursing home. 

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hollis.


Survivors include her husband H.W. Sanders of the home; one daughter, Ann Coker 
of Cottonwood, Ariz. and one brother, Lowerce Hogan of Henrietta, Texas.
