Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ Freddie "Fred" Orr, 55, of Vinson, passed away Friday. Funeral services under the direction of Patterson Greer Funeral Home in Hollis, are set for 2 p.m. Friday at the Hollis Church of Christ. Chip Moore will officiate and interment will follow at Independence Cemetery in Vinson. He was born in Hollis to Arville Jessie and Violet Elizabeth Orr. He grew up in Harmon County and married Shirley Ann Whitson on April 9, 1963 at Antioch Baptist Church. He was a faithful member of the Hollis Church of Christ. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a long time farmer and rancher and enjoyed the outdoors. His favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing.. He is survived by his wife, Shirley of the home; sons, Bradley Orr and wife, Kathy of Weatherford and Jason Orr and wife, Corie of Gould; daughter, Shelia Miranda, and husband, Darrin of Gould; brothers, Dale Orr and wife, Shirley of Amarillo, Texas; Nolan Orr and wife, Tennie Mark of Houston, Texas; Jerry Orr and wife, Terri of Spearman, Texas; sisters, Edwina Whitman and husband, Wendell of Cyril; Juanita Linville and husband, Gene of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Seth and Leah Miranda and Mindy and Shanna Orr; his aunt, Bonnie Ramos and many other relatives and friends.
