Archives. ************************************************************ Rosa Maxine Hollis Fulton ************************************************************ Maxine Fulton, 82, died Thursday at Harmon County Memorial Hospital in Hollis. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Hollis, with the Rev. James Densman officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis. Services are under the direction of Stewart Funeral Service. She was born July 19, 1918 to A.D. and Rosa Coggins Hollis, Sr. in Hollis. She graduated from Hollis High School in 1936 and later attended Oklahoma A&M. She married Robert Leon Fulton Sept. 29, 1945 in Childress, Texas and worked as the bookkeeper for Fulton Plumbing. She was a member of the First Baptist Church the 1941 Sorosis Club, PEO Chapter, and B&PW. Her specials interests were her grandchildren, reading, traveling, the 1941 Sorosis Club, PEO and her friends. She was descendant of George Washington Hollis, the founder of Hollis. She is survived by two sons, Rod H. Fulton and wife, Beverly of Hot Springs Village, Ark. and David L. Fulton and wife, Deana of Hollis; a daughter, Lea Ann Fulton of Amarillo; sister-in-law, Madeline Moore of Hollis; granddaughter, Shannon Fulton Kardokus and husband Merl of Edmond; two grandsons, Ryan Fulton and wife Kate of Frisco, Texas and Robert Fulton and wife Jamae of Oklahoma City; a great-granddaughter, Eliza Fulton of Frisco, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Fulton in 1977 and her father, A.D.
