Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ Mary Gastineau, 95, died Saturday at Tishomingo. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. at Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis. A W. "Buddy" Burch will officiate. She was born June 23, 1905 in new Boston, Texas to J.R. and Bertha Lee Wilson Morehead, Sr. She was a graduate of Parnell Schools in Parnell, Texas and was a bookkeeper for a cotton gin and a construction company. She also enjoyed China painting. She lived in Mill Creek and Ravia since 1965, and has lived at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Tishomingo since 1985. Survivors include a brother, Vaughn Morehead of Pixley, Calif., two sisters, Ruth Wood of Delta, Colo. and Eileen Drake of Delano, Calif., a daughter-in-law, Billie Joe Hamilton, a sister-in-law, Eileen Morehead of Pixley, Calif., her grandchildren, Vicky Pate and Jan Hale both of Hollis, Susan Cummins of Altus, Kim Ward of Tucson, Ariz. Carla Mason and Tania von Luhate, both of Anchorage, Alaska. She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, a son, Vance Hamilton, two brothers, Archie Morehead and J.R. Morehead, Jr. and sister, Myrtis Cowart.
