Lowry


Jimmie Ray Lowry, 88, died Sunday in Amarillo, Texas. Services will be 11 a.m. 
Friday at the Hollis Church of Christ, with Jeff Foster officiating. Burial 
will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stewart 
Funeral Services.


He is survived by his wife, Erlene of the home; two daughters, Gloria Hassan 
of California and Rickie Zoellner of Arizona; one son, Hubert Wayne Lowry of 
California; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sadie 
Jo Buchannan of Oklahoma City, Nerva Jewel Sherman of Lubbock, Texas and Faye 
Gatlin of Taft, Tenn; many friends in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, California 
and Tennessee.


He was preceded in death by his parent, Samuel Frank and Minerva Lowry; four 
brothers, Cecil, Loy, Hubert and Dewey; one sister, Dollie Weightman, and one 
son, Jimmie D. Lowry.
