Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ SEPT. 9: Kitchen Jewell Mae Kitchen, 69, died Sept. 5, 2002 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services were held Sunday at Stewart Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Caley officiating. Burial followed at Fairmount Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Stewart Funeral Service. She was born January 3, 1933 in Hollis to Lester and Annie Beatrice Hooks Stallings. She worked as a food service supervisor and lived in the Hollis community all her life. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She married Winford Wilson Kitchen on Aug. 13, 1949 in Wellington, Texas. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and also enjoyed going to garage sales. She is survived sons Donnie Kitchen and wife Linda of Yukon, Ronnie Kitchen, Hollis, and Faron Kitchen, Oklahoma City; daughters Rhonda Montgomery and husband Neil, Duke, Kathy Cooper and husband Peter, Lubbock, Texas, and Sandra Montague and husband Sid, White Deer, Texas; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Winford in 1985; granddaughter Michelle Kitchen in 1992; and grandson Tanner Welch in 1996.
