Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ JULY 23: Stigler Graveside services for James Nolan Stigler, 78, of Lubbock, Texas will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Officiating will be the Rev. Mark A. Farr. Visitation will be at the Patterson-Greer Funeral Home in Hollis from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and before the graveside services on Wednesday. He died Sunday in Lubbock. He was born Dec. 7, 1923 in Hollis to Mr. and Mrs. Harvie Stigler of Hollis. He graduated from Westview High school and Oklahoma A&M University. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of World War II, serving as a sergeant in the China- Burma-India area. He was a Southern Baptist and member of the Elgin Baptist Church in Lubbock. He was employed by Mobil Oil Company in Dallas, Texas, as an accountant for 31 years before his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Mary of Lubbock; a son, Bob Stigler of Lubbock; two daughters, Norma Lynn Stigler of Lubbock and Kim Eilene Gibbs of Granbury, Texas; a sister, Dianne Guerra of Enid; and two brothers, Robert Stigler of Mineral Wells, Texas and Bill Stigler of Austin, Texas.
