Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ Gerald Ketchersid, 69, died Saturday at Colonial Manor I Nursing Home. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the OM Cemetery, with Lindy McDaniel officiating. Services are under the direction of Stewart Funeral Service. He was born Jan. 14, 1932 in Hollis. He was raised and lived with his grandparents Jon and Myra Royal. He attended school at Arnett and served in the U.S. Army for a number of years. He served during the Korean War with the Oklahoma National Guard in Company D of the medical detachment of the 120th Combat Engineers, 45th Infantry Division. He is survived by his sister Edra and her husband Art Manuel of Richland, Wash.; four nieces. Vicki and husband, Mike Contini of Pasco, Wash, Kathy Espinosa of Austin, Texas, Pam and husband Mike Briggs of Albany, Ore and Denise and husband Paul Meinke of Roseburg, Ore., a nephew, Christopher Manuel of Richland, Wash., two aunts, May and husband George Easter and Faye and husband James Perkey all of Elk City, five great nieces, one great nephew, one great-great nephew, and several cousins. ************************************************************
