Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ July 16, 2002 Williams Lois Clifford Williams, 88, of Altus, died Sunday at Grace Living Center in Altus. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday at Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home in Lone Wolf with the Rev. David Chittenden officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home, Lone Wolf. He was born Nov. 29, 1913 in Cement to George and Francis (Walker) Williams. He married Mary Agnes Sunday in Hollis in 1936. She preceded him in death June 24, 1999. He farmed and also worked in road construction for the Oklahoma Highway Department for 30 years. He enjoyed playing baseball when he was in school and listening to country music. He attended Elm and Hudson Church of Christ in Altus. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Francis; his wife, Mary Agnes; two brothers and one sister. He is survived by three sons, Clifford Williams and Thomas Williams, both of Altus, and Phillip Charles Williams and wife Shirley of Cedar Town, Ga.; two grandchildren, Kristen and Lindsey; two great- grandchildren, Shawn and Leslie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.
