Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ Young LaRue Young, 66, died Thursday at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus. Services were held Saturday at the Stewart Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Parker officiating. Burial was to follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stewart Funeral Services. She was born in Hollis on Sept. 3, 1935 to Ed and Varea Clements Masters. She graduated from Hollis High School and worked as a hairdresser, waitress and cook. She married Kenneth Young. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed spending time with her dog Bingo and listening to Elvis Presley music. She is survived by two children, Debbie Baker and husband Nolan and Mike Young and wife Melinda, all of Hollis; brother Eddie Masters and wife Mary of San Antonio, Texas; four grandsons, Bryan, Raymond, Dallas and Nolan III; four granddaughters, Patti, Kristine, Joyce and Barbie; and five great-grandchildren, Carson, Abigail, Emily, Joseph and Daniel. She was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Varea Masters and one brother, Glynn Dale Masters.
