Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ SEPT.22: Hall Marjorie H. Hall, 80, Altus died Friday at Jackson County Memorial. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Memorial Chapel at the Kincannon Funeral Home with Bill Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. She was born Feb. 27, 1922 in Palestine, Texas, to William Lee and Hulda Annette Gilson Thompson. She attended school in Vinson. She married Lewis R. Hall on May 7, 1940 in Hollis. To this union, four children were born. She worked as a homemaker. She was a wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked at Jackson County Memorial Hospital for 17 years before retiring in 1984. She enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking. She was a member of the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ in Altus. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband 44 years, Lewis; four sisters and one brother. She is survived by her three daughters, Sherry Youndt of The Colony, Texas, Rosetta Stroud of Del City and Elizabeth Lambert of Altus; her son, Charles Hall of Spearman, Texas; two sisters, Deannie Gilley and Cleo Cotter, both of Spearman, Texas; 11 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
