Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Monte Kreis, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home. Mrs. Pigg was born Nov. 15, 1915, in Hollis, Okla., to Morris Miles Kern and Myrtle Moore Kern. She married Kelly A. Pigg in January 1936 at Wellington. She owned and operated Pigg and Golson, a bookkeeping and tax preparation business. She was a longtime piano and organ instructor. She was a charter member of Wellington Music Club and a member of 1924 study club. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was the church organist for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 8, 1987; and a brother, Harold Kern. Survivors include two sons, Harold Pigg and Kern Pigg, both of Lubbock; and four grandchildren, Martin Kern Pigg of Baltimore, Meg Pigg of Fort Worth, Molly Pigg of Washington and Kate Pigg of College Station.
