Archives. ************************************************************ Pearl Nichols, 87, passed away Monday. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Dodson, Texas Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stewart Funeral Service. She was born Feb. 18, 1914 in Dodson to Charles and Lucy Ann Jones Humphrey. She married Owen C. Nichols in 1938 in Altus. He died in 1969. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church. She and her husband lived in Englewood, Calif. for 20 years. They moved to Albuquerque, N. M. in 1952. She later moved to Hollis in 1972. Survivors include nieces, Phyllis Webb of Wellington, yexas, Terri Owens, Billie Lawson, and Marjorie Cox all of Burnett, Texas; Marie Allen of Santa Anna, Calif; nephews Randy Wilson of Canyon, Texas and Joe Cox of Burnett, texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four sisters and six brother.
