Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ Odis Neal Long, 71, passed away Sunday at Harmon County Memorial Hospital. Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Hollis Church of Christ, with Jeff Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stewart Funeral Service. He was born June 1, 1930, in Hollis to Charlie Odis Long and Vivian Lucille Plummer Long. He attended Arnett High School and spent his entire life in Hollis. He married Tillie Horton on Feb. 26, 1950 in the Church of Christ parsonage in Hollis. He was a farmer and rancher and was a charter member of the Lion's Club. He was a member of the Hollis Church of Christ and served in the United States Navy. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and cowboying, but his main interest was his grandchildren and his new great-grandson. He is survived by wife, Tillie Long of the home: three sons, Frankie Long and wife, Donette of Hollis, Lonnie Long and wife, Renae of Altus and Brad Long and wife Mary of Harrah; one daughter, Marcy Sessions and husband Jon of Wellington, Texas; five grandsons, Steven Long of Oklahoma City, Shelby Long and wife, Hollie of Hollis, Landon Long of Altus, Jackson Long of Altus, and Riley Sessions of Wellington, a granddaughter, Riles Sessions of Wellington and one great-grandson, Marek Neal Long of Hollis. He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Long in 1974, mother Vivian Long in 1997 and twin daughters, Elizabeth and Elaine in 1951.
