Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ Robert "Buddy" F. Fox, 72, passed away Monday at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, N.M. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Deming, N. M. with the Rev. David Okerberg, pastor officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis with the Rev. Dee Willis, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Hollis officiating. A viewing will be available at the Stewart Funeral Service from Saturday at noon until service time. Fox was born Feb. 17, 1929, in Hollis to Fred and Opal Wilson Fox. He moved to Deming in 1945 and married Elaine Speir on Sept. 7, 1947. He lived in Silver City, N.M. for several years and was a business owner in Deming, N.M. He was an avid golfer and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was frequent visitor to Hollis and was active in the alumni banquet every year. He is survived by one son, Steven Fox and wife, Catherine of St. Helens, Ore.; a daughter, Janet Cornelison and husband, Jim of Georgia; three brothers, Don Fox of Oklahoma City , Tom Aday and Paul Aday, both of Plainview, Texas; five grandchildren, Jena Hippe, Scott Fox, Patrick and Cameron Cornelison and Jennifer Trujillo and two great-grandchildren, Chase and Hunter Cornelison.
