Robert Doyle Jones, 67, died Thursday. 

Services were held this morning at the Gould Methodist Church and the Rev. Dee 
Willis officiated. Burial followed at the Gould Cemetery. 

Services were under the direction of Stewart Funeral Service of Hollis. 

He was born Dec. 3, 1934, in Gould to James Doyle and Maggie Mae McDaniel Jones. 

He attended Gould High School and was a member of the Gould Methodist Church. He 
served in the Army during the 1950s. 

He married Winonia (Nona) Hensley Oct. 17, 1986 in Wellington, Texas. 

He was a heavy equipment operator for Harmon County and also a woodworker, 
jewelry maker and a farmer. 

He lived most of his life at Gould. 
H is survived by his wife Nona of the home; daughter Cheryl Jones of Montrose, 
Calif.; two sons, Mark Jones and wife Barbara of Fontana, Calif. and Scott Jones 
of Case Grande, Ariz.; two sisters, Ada Miranda and husband Odell of Gould and 
Dene Jones and husband Garland of Hollis; three grandchildren, Aaron Cunningham 
and Michelle and Bridgett Jones. 

He was preceded in death by his mother in 1941 and his father in 1994.
