Overton, G. Russell

G. RUSSELL OVERTON, 86, of Vinson, OK died Sunday, February 9, 2003 
in Hollis, OK. Funeral Services will be held at First United 
Methodist Church in Hollis, OK on Tuesday, February 11, 2003 at 2:00 
p.m. Russell Overton was born January 3, 1917 northwest of Vinson. He 
married Reba Wooley on December 24, 1936. Russell was employed by the 
Harmon County USDA as a supervisor for seventeen years, then he 
served as a board member for the Harmon County USDA. Following that, 
he was employed by Greer County USDA for four years. Russell is 
survived by his wife Reba Overton; two daughters Linda Leonardi and 
Leona and husband Bill Sherrill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be 
made to the Hollis Methodist Church. Services are with Stewart 
Funeral Service, Hollis, OK.
