Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ April 2002 Teddie E. McLaughlin, 86, died Friday at her home in Hollis. Funeral services were set for this afternoon at the Gould Methodist Church with burial to follow at the Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis. Services were under the direction of Stewart Funeral Services of Hollis. She was born Oct. 4, 1915 to W.R. "Bob" and Bessie John Templeton. She married James McLaughlin in 1932. She was a member of the Baptist church. She worked the James Drive Inn in Hollis from 1949 until 1956. She owned the James Greenhouse for many years She worked at the flower shop for ten year and then sold it to her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and June Watson. She is survived by two daughters, Jane Stoddard of Hollis and Shirley Swaim and her husband Hulen, Amarillo, Texas; a son-in-law, June Watson of Hollis; five grandsons, Eddie Watson of Broken Arrow, Danny Watson of Hollis, Mike Swaim of Woodland, Texas, Mark Swaim of Amarillo, Texas and Randy Stoddard of Hollis; one granddaughter, Teddie Yowell of Hollis; seven great-granddaughters, eight great- grandsons and two great-great-granddaughters; three brothers, R.L. Templeton of Moore, Bobby Templeton of Hollis and Billy Templeton of Gilbreth, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James McLaughlin in 1980, daughter Mary Watson in 1998 and two brothers and three sisters.
