Okla. Archives. ************************************************************ Varea Masters, 92, passed away Tuesday at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hollis Church of Christ with Paul Evans and Jeff Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stewart Funeral Service. She was born Sept. 4, 1908 to William Scott and Susie Mary Clements in Denton County, Texas. She married Ed Masters on March 3, 1929 at the Church of Christ parsonage. She went to school at Pleasant Hill. She lived in the Hollis area all her life. She was a member of the Hollis Church of Christ. She enjoyed crocheting, afghans, square dancing, waltzing, gardening, playing 42 and being with her family. Survivors include a daughter, LaRue Masters Young of Hollis; a son, Eddie Masters and his wife Mary of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Jean Olive and husband Gilford of Mangum and Aileen Gilliam of Norman; 24 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great- grandchildren
