He was born in Brinkman, Oklahoma, on May 7, 1919. Sam owned and operated a retail liquor store in the Britton area from 1960 until his retirement in 1985. He was also a disabled veteran who served his country in World War II as a medic in the South Pacific. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores. He leaves behind a son, Jerry Pat and his wife Rhonda; his daughter, Rose Wiley and her husband Larry, all of Oklahoma City. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Rachelle Wiley & Shawndra Foutch and her husband Larry along with five great grandchildren. Sam came from a large family. His surviving brothers and sisters and their spouses are: Lucille Hyde (Sam's twin) and her husband Harold, Louise Melton, Sally Davis, Rosalind Norris and her husband Brison, Daniel Andrews and his wife Bobbye, Jack Andrews and his wife Rosette, and sisters-in-law, Truel Andrews and Josie Andrews Stone. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Baggerley Funeral Home at 13313 N. Kelley is handling the arrangements and a private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 19, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Edmond.
