Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Robertson Funeral Directors Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Bryan Knowles, pastor of Community Fellowship Church, officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery. Mr. David was born Feb. 17, 1936, in Clarendon and was raised there. He was a resident of Oklahoma City for three years before moving to Buffalo 11 years ago. He was a professional musician most of his life and was a member of First Baptist Church in Buffalo. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jarrett David, in 1957. Survivors include a daughter, Karren Poucher of Taylor; a son, William Merle David of Odessa; two sisters, Rita Gonzalez of Amarillo and Jewell Millan of Tucson, Ariz.; and two brothers, Eldon David of Oklahoma City and Ray David of Clarendon.
