Eaton was born April 11, 1944, in LeQuire, OK and passed away on September 23, 2002. During his two and one-half year fight with cancer, he showed bravery and strength beyond belief. Don is survived by his wife Vicki, son Waylon; mother Rosie; brothers Gary, Howard (Michelle), Marine (Connie); sisters Zona Horn, Maxine (John) Risch, and Jo Ann (Steve) Lankford. Don also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Jake, and brothers G. T. and Jerry. After graduating from Kinta High School, Don attended both Eastern State and Northeastern State Colleges. He served two years in the U. S. Army, and after returning home from Korea, he began his 30 year trade as a brick mason. His life and the love toward him are far reaching. A greater man will not be found. He was loving, inspirational, entertaining, and comforting to those who will be left without him. Our Thanks to Drs. Vikki Canfield and Richard Wood for their wonderful care. Don loved you both. Thanks to Mercy Hospital's 3B floor nursing staff for their care. We appreciate the Ministry Staff at Lakeside Assembly Church and thank them for their calls, visits and prayers. The outreach from family and friends gave Don the love and support he needed. Thank You. We praise and thank God for the life of Don Eaton. God has blessed us all. Don, you are truly irreplaceable. Services will be at LeQuire Baptist Church in LeQuire, OK on Thursday, September 26, at 2:00; Reverend Herb Hull officiating.
