All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Hillcrest Memorial Park--Bakersfield CA Bakersfield Californian Ludie Hall Services: Wed., Nov. 13, 10 a.m. Funeral services for Ludie Hall, 95, will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednsday, in Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel, with Reverend Dexter McMahon officiating. Ludie passed away on Friday in Bakersfield. Visitation will be on Tuesday from noon until 8:00 p.m. Ludie was born April 19, 1907, in Stigler, Oklahoma, and had resided in Bakersfield since 1935. Survivors include her 6 children, Garland Hall, Auston (Blue) Hall, Helen Jones, Melvin Hall, Larry Hall, and Mary OToole; and numerous grandchildren and great-grand-children. She is predeceased by 2 sons, Huston Roy Hall and Lowell Dwayne Hall. The pallbearers will be Larry, Chuck, and Garland Hall, Tom Hardin, John Austin and Neil Raines. The family would like to thank Juanita and all the staff at Cambridge Hills, who loved mom and thought of her as grandma. Also, we would like to say Thanks to all of the friends mom made while she was there. A special Thanks to Becky Smith, who although in a wheelchair, every morning at 7:30, could be seen going over to California Care to be with mom, who she loved and adopted as her own grandma. Also a special Thanks to Renee at Cambridge Hills, who didnt drive but would walk several miles everyday to visit with mom. Also our gratitude goes out to our moms roommate at California Care, Opal. Thank you for keeping a watchful eye on mom and making sure that she was okay. Thanks also to Reverend Dexter McMahon and Sister Linda Lee, who came and prayed for mom while she was in California Care. Our sincerest gratitude goes out to all of you.
