Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Morrison Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Scott Willingham, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Harrell was born in Neodesha, Kan. In 1937 she moved from Okemah, Okla., to Dumas. She was a homemaker. She and her husband established Dairy Queen in Dumas in 1950 and operated it until 1974, when it was sold. She was a longtime member of the Moore County Home Demonstration Club. She married Troy L. Harrell in 1932 at Stigler, Okla. He died in 1987. Survivors include two daughters, Jorene Carlton of Amarillo and Glenna Emmett of Dumas; a sister, Edith Russell of Dumas; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family will be at 107 Amherst. They request memorials be to the American Cancer Society, 211 Zauk, Dumas, TX 79029, to Memorial Hospice, 224 E. 2nd, Dumas, TX 79029, or to a favorite charity.
