Hodges Services: Friday, Jan. 2, 2:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Ln., Friday, January 2, at 2:30 p.m. Pauline M. Hodges was born on September 11, 1924, in Hoyt, Oklahoma, and passed away December 27, 2003, at her home in Stigler, Oklahoma, at the age of 79. Mrs. Hodges is survived by two sisters, Ynona King of Lamont and Della Casady of Whitefield, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Hodges, who passed away on May 1, 1988, and Russell McCoy, who passed away on August 17, 1998; her parents, Fay and Myrtle Moore; and her brother, Samuel Moore. Mrs. Hodges moved to California in 1943 where she met Lewis Hodges and [they] were married on May 5, 1944. In 1947 Mr. Hodges began working at Planada Packer's Cannery while Mrs. Hodges worked at a cannery in Merced. In 1979, they moved to Stigler, Oklahoma, where they both retired. Mr. Hodges passed away on May 1, 1988, at the age of 76. Then, Pauline met and married Russell McCoy in 1990. After 8 years of marriage Mr. McCoy passed away at the age of 88. Pauline was very active in the Rocky Ridge Baptist Church and loved helping the needy and those who were ill. She is famous for the homemade lemon pies. Her favorite pastime was going to church and crocheting. Services were held Monday, December 29, 2003, at the Mallory Chapel in Stigler, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home.
