Hughes, Wanda Louise

Chapel services will be held Thursday, June 7, 10:00 a.m., at 
Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd. Wanda Louise Hughes was 
born June 9, 1927, in Keota, OK to Susie and Virgil Davis. She was 
very active in her church, loved working with the youth, as well as 
making crafts and quilts. Wanda was a member of Women Axillary of VFW 
and was a Girl Scout leader. Wanda is survived by her daughter, Susie 
Longacre; sons, Charles Wood and Calvin Wood; sister, Agnes Boling; 
numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She 
was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph C. Wood, Marcus 
Lawrence, and Oliver Hughes. We would like to give a special thank 
you to Mercy Abraham at Lila Rose Court Manor for all their 
assistance in taking care of our mother. Visitation will begin 
Thursday, June 7, at 9:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel. Wanda
