All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Ceres Memorial Park--Ceres CA Qualls, Opal Lee OPAL LEE QUALLS OCT. 16, 1918 - MAY 16, 2007 Opal Qualls, age 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 16, 2007 while in the care of Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson. She was born in Kinta, OK and moved to California in the mid- thirties. She lived the last 75 years in Modesto. Opal worked for many years at Stanislaus Canneries and later did bookkeeping services for the family business. She provided child care services for many of her grandchildren and friends. Her main focus in life was her family and doing for them. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and camping. Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert C. Qualls; her daughter, Darlene Qualls and grandson, Randy Wilcoxon. She is survived by her children, Hershel Qualls of Clovis, CA, Anita Ewald of Modesto, CA, Louise Cox of Columbia Falls, MT, Duane Qualls, Donald Qualls and Gary Qualls, all of Modesto; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Monday, May 21 at Ceres Memorial Park. Colonial Chapel-Franklin & Downs-Directors.
