Home of Indian Territory for two years, died at her home at Lehigh, Okla., after four weeks's severe suffering of pneumonia tuberculosis, March 22, 1910. She was born at Atoka, February 24, 1868, of a prominent Indian Territory pioneer family (J. D. Davis). Her mother died while she was a mere child, and her father passed away fourteen years ago. She leaves a dearly loved husband, two brothers and one sister to mourn. She was baptized and united with the Atoka Missionary Baptist Church during the pastorate of Rev. J. S. Murrow or "Uncle Murrow" as he is familiarly known all over Oklahoma. She loved her church and its work and the Sabbath-school. She was a graduate of Bacone College, Muskogee, Okla. She joined the Rebekah Lodge at Roff about twelve years age, but later held her membership at Olney. She was an earnest, active worker in her Lodge and the assembly, and labored unceasingly to assist in maintaining a higher standard of efficiency in the order. It is needless to say that Sister Mason lived the Home and its little ones, for actions speak louder than any words. In brief, our departed sister was a true and noble type of fraternal Womanhood. With tender hands and loving hearts, the Rebekahs and Eastern Star Sisters, amid beautiful floral emblems and heartfelt tears, wept, sang and spoke her requiem from the rituals of the orders she loved so well, as they careful and lovingly laid her body away in the hope of a blessed reunion of body and spirit on the resurrection morn. No more shall her pleasant smile, her hearty hand grasp be seen or felt by us, bur her association with us has left mirrored upon the tablet of our memory loving thoughts of her character and devotion to the principles of Rebekah Odd Fellowship. Indian Territory I.O.O.F. Odd Fellow Session 1910 Report No. 21 Mrs. Anna Krebs Mason Death in its awful stillness has invaded our ranks once again, and claimed a bright jewel for tribute to his eternal throne, where our found hopes, inspired by nature and nature's God, as revealed to us, make us believe she will live throughout all eternity. Sister Anna Krebs Mason, Home Trustee, died at her home on March 22, 1910, aged 42 years, leaving a husband to care for their lonely home. She had been a life-long and active member of the Baptist church, and her life was a testimonial of the high ideals she entertained. She held membership in only two fraternal orders, of which the Rebekah was her best loved, having joined our membership in 1902 at Roff No. 34, removing to Olney No. 90, where now rests on the Honor Roll. Whereas; The great loss sustained by our order is keenly felt, and sorrow therefore fills our hearts, therefore be it Resolved; That in the loss of Sister mason we recognize the hand of the Omnipotent Power, and humbly bow to its mandates, One more tie linking us to the Great Unknown is forged, one more voice calls through memory to a better life, one more loved one joined the Angelic Host. A pure-sighted, high-minded, loyal-hearted sister has gone to her reward. We lose. Heaven Gains. Fraternally Submitted Committee on Resolutions Brown, C. P. Brown, Ben Human, J. M. McBride, G. A.
