Dunlap, a member of Miriam Rebekah Lodge No. 20, was born in the state of New York, Oct. 15, 1850, and died in the Carmen Home Feb. 5, 1916, age 65 years, 3 months and 20 days. She was buried in the Home Cemetery by the Car-men Rebekah Lodge and friends. Sister Dunlap suffered for a number of years, bedfast, but always cherished her helpers with kind words, and died loved by all the Home family. Nellie Chloe Stevenson, born at Cloud Chief, Oklahoma April 27, 1899, died at the Carmen Home July 20, 1916, aged 17 years, 2 months and 23 days. Her remains were laid to rest in the Home Cemetery by Carmen Rebekah Lodge and friends. Chloe was a kind loving girl, plucked in her youth from a big family, who will remember her. George M. Eowe, a member of Weatherford Lodge No. 56, was born in Bond county, Illinois, August 11, 1848; died Aug. 13, 1916, aged 67 years, 11 months and 22 days. He was laid away to rest in the Home plot at Checotah by Checotah Lodge No. 30. Having no relatives, it was a God's blessing that he belonged to our Order. D. A. McMillan, a member of Bristow Lodge No. 110, born in the state of New York, Nov. 21, 1838; died Jan. 4, 1916, aged 77 years, 1 month and 13 days. The body was sent from Checotah Home to Bristow, where he was laid to rest by brothers of Bristow Lodge. He lived to a grand old age, and was a grand old brother. Zenos C. Smith, a member of Purdy Lodge No. 600, was born in North Carolina April 30, 1863. Died April 30, 1916, age 53 years, at Checotah Home, and was laid to rest by Checotah Lodge No. 30 in the Home plot, with the ceremonies of the Order.
