The oldest birth date on a stone was 1821. The oldest burial date was 1891. Of the 211 people buried with headstones here, at least 51 are babies, children, or young people under the age of 21. Life was hard for these pioneer families. A number of those buried between 1910 and 1940 were buried in coffins made by Lon Mabry, my grandfather. ###
