Adams was born March 14, 1946 to William and Faye (Howard) Adams in Altus, Oklahoma. He came to California in 1957 and completed his education in Wasco schools. He married Barbara Allen Dunlap on March 12, 1971, in Wasco. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and received his Honorable Discharge in 1973. He then began working as a welder in agriculture for many years. He was an avid fisherman who loved to make his own fishing lures and worms. He also loved to paint and whittle. He loved his family and his grandchildren and loved to see them ride the go-cart he made for them. Kelly always made it known that God was first in his life. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Barbara of Wasco; daughters, Kellie Leann Gonzalez and husband Paul and Jessica Adams, all of Wasco; mother, Wilma Marsh of Wasco; brother, Willie Marsh and wife Billy; sister, Linda Curry and husband Ray of Cordova, Tennessee; and 6 grandchildren, Adriana, P.J., Raven, Noah, Jacob, Lena. A graveside service under the direction of Peters Funeral Home will be held Monday, Nov. 27 at 2:00pm at Wasco Memorial Park. Minister Gary Anderson of the Wasco Church of Christ will officiate and interment will follow. Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 26 from 2pm until 8pm at Peters Funeral Home, Wasco.
