Funeral services are pending with Kincannon Funeral Home. AUG. 2 EDITION: Babione Ron Babione was born Nov. 17, 1929, on his family farm southeast of Custer City, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Lester Eugene and Estella (Cork) Babione. He passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2001 in the Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Ron worked on the family farm and attended the Custer City schools until 1940 when his family moved to Clinton. After graduation from Clinton High School, he attended Southeastern State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma, and became active in the Army National Guard. He was a longtime resident of Altus and Jackson County, a former member of the First Presbyterian Church in Altus. Ron owned and operated R&B Spraying Company. Ron and Bonita Lankford Etheridge were married more than 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Bonita of the home in Altus, Oklahoma; four children, Charlotte Lovett and husband, Danny, of Norman, Oklahoma, Ronny Babione and wife, Susan, of Altus, Oklahoma, R.E. "Rusty" Babione of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Bruce Babione and wife, Debbie of Ft. Polk, Louisiana; his mother-in-law, Wanda Lankford of Altus, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, James Lovett of Norman, Oklahoma, R.C. Babione and wife, Bridget of Vernon, Texas, Molly Babione of Norman, Oklahoma, Matt Babione and wife, Valerie of Lawton, Oklahoma, Lindsay Pickle and husband, Preston, of Hinesville, Georgia; two great-grandchildren. She owned "Marzelle's", a maternity and children's clothing store, located in the Park Lane Shopping Center, from 1954 until 1962. She was a homemaker until she started for Powder Puff in 1976, retiring in 1987. She was of the Methodist faith. She was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post 4876. She loved gardening, raising roses, cooking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters and one brother. Survivors include his wife, Marguerite of Eldorado; daughters, Zelma Bundy of Morro Bay, Calif. and Vicki Gann of Tucson, Ariz.; son, Robert Lynn bateman of Bakersfield, Calif.; a sister, beatrice Eby of Tulsa; five grandchildren; two s and many nieces, nephews and friends. Bilby Lonnie E. Bilby, 57, Mounds, died Friday at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa from complications of Multiple Myoloma. Services will be Thursday at the Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa. Smith Funeral Home of Sapulpa is in charge of arrangements. He graduated from Sapulpa High School where he was a member of the golf team. He was stationed in Germany while serving in the United States Army. He retired from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation after 30 years, working in the Sapulpa residency. He later transferred to the Altus residency as an assistant resident engineer. After retirement he established L&B Construction & Staking, which he operated until his death. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and was an avid gardener and golfer. He was born Oct. 1, 1943 in Lawton to J.C. and Naoma Lee Hubbard. He worked many years at Southeast Junior High in Altus. He was an accomplished pianist, award winning photographer and graphic artist, model railroad collector, avid sportsman and commercial pilot. She was a homemaker and helped on the farms near Warren and Blair. Her husband died in November of 1993. Myers Georgie (Clarey) Mills Myers, 88, passed away Sunday at the Purcell Municipal Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Larry C. She was born March 14, 1913 in Reagen to James Virgil Clarey and Mary Francis Miller Clarey. She grew up on a farm in Johnson County. In 1919, her family moved to Bethel near the Louis Hill Community where they continue to farm. She married Jessie Samuel Mills. They raised seven children and farmed cotton for nearly 30 years along the Red River south of Hollis. Her husband died in 1965 and later she married life long friend "N.L." Nathaniel Myers. He died in 1998. She was a member of the Hollis Baptist Church. She had been a resident of the Lexington Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 18, 1914 in Dodson to Charles and Lucy Ann Jones Humphrey. She married Owen C. Nichols in 1938 in Altus. He died in 1969. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church. She and her husband lived in Englewood, Calif. for 20 years. They moved to Albuquerque, N. M. in 1952. She later moved to Hollis in 1972. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four sisters and six brother. Schoolcraft Dollie J. Schoolcraft, 52, and a long time Mangum resident, passed away Saturday. He was born July 19, 1949, in Mangum to W.L. "Bud" Weaver and Betty Harris Weaver. She married to Victor Schoolcraft on Oct. 5, 1967 at Altus. She worked at a nursing home, convenience stores, the Duffer Motel and as a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Victor Schoolcraft; father, William L. Zachary Claude Gene Zachary, 65, died Monday, August 13, 2001, in Wichita Falls. Funeral services were conducted August 15, 2001 in the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Crestview with Reverend Keith Cupples, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, and Dr. JW Selle, pastor of University United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, officiating. Services were under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Crestview. He was born January 9, 1936, in Walters, Oklahoma to Claude and Marie (Daniel) Zachary. He was a 1954 graduate of Walters High School, a 1956 graduate from Cameron College in Lawton, a 1973 graduate from Midwestern State University, and a 1976 graduate from the F.B.I. Academy. On September 1, 1956, he married Shirley Holder in Walters. Zachary started with the Wichita Falls Police Department in 1959 as a patrolman. In 1971 he was appointed chief of police in Clsein 1993. He retired a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Methodist Men, was baptized in the First Baptist Church in Walters, and was a former member of First United Methodist Church in Cleburne. Zachary was a charter member of the North Texas Chiefs of Police, and served on the board of directors. Other memberships include International Chiefs of Police, North Texas counsel of governments, North Texas Police Academy in Arlington, and Kiwanis. He was preceded in death by his father Claude Zachary. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War I, serving in the 341st Division of the Infantry in North Africa and Italy. He was a farmer in Greer County until he moved to Pampa in 1952. He was an operator for Celanese Corporation, retiring after 25 years of service. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was born Aug. 18, 1909, Tibbee, Miss. to John and Katherine Messianhoelder Graumann. As a child he moved with his family to Granite. On April 13, 1924, he was confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Granite. He married Bertha H. Meyer on Aug. 14, 1936 in Granite. They lived outside of Granite where they farmed. He was a carpenter and worked for several different companies before his retirement in 1975. They moved to Olathe where they were living at the time of Bertha's on Oct. 14, 2000. Shortly afterwards, he moved to Vintage Park in Paola to be close to his daughter and son-in-law, He enjoyed woodworking, reading, puzzles and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, four brothers, Theodore, Ernest, Ervin and Clarence; a sister, Edwina Stock, a grandson, Joel Kluhsman and a grandaughter-in-law, Katherine Kluhsman. She loved to cook for her family and friends, loved caring for her grandchildren, and loved helping others who were less fortunate than she. She lived her entire life in Harmon County.
