All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Tipton Cemetery--Tipton OK Lawton Constitution 02 Sep 2005 Earl 'Mike' Arnold MANITOU -- Funeral for Earl "Mike" Arnold, 94, Manitou, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with the Vernon Floyd officiating. Mr. Arnold died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, in Federick. Burial will be at Tipton Cemetery under direction of Jackson Funeral Home. He was born Nov. 25, 1910, in Manitou, to John Waldo and Ruby Wayman Arnold. He attended school in Manitou. He married Maxine Lee Degan on Dec.16, 1930, in Altus. She died Dec. 5, 2001. He worked for the Frisco Railroad and retired as section crew foreman after 42 years. He was a member of Manitou First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Louis and Clara Arnold, Central Point, Ore.; and Don and Carol Arnold, Ada; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Wanda and Robert Harris, Edmond; Reta and Rodney Dill, Frederick; and Reva Herring, Tipton; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; three sisters; a great-granddaughter, Katie Michelle Harris; and a great-great- granddaughter, Katlyn Prescott.
